Given the fast-growing market of digital payments in India, Google has updated its TEZ app. You can also pay electricity, water and gas bills from Google Tez app. Google has yet to facilitate cashless transactions, but now Google has added 'bill payment' option to it. The new update has happened for Android and iOS.

Google launched 'Tez' app in India in September. This is the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) based app. You can download it from Play Store or app Store for free. In India, it will be directly combat with mobile wallet like Paytm, Mobikwik.

With the Google Tez app, you can now pay a variety of bills like electricity bill, water bill, gas bill and insurance. To pay the bill, users will have to go to the 'Payment' section of the app, then click on 'Select Payments'. Here you have to create an account. After this you will be asked for the bill related information. After this you will have to link the bank account to make the payment. After this you can pay using the UPI PIN. With this app you can also see the balance and payment bill status.

Tez app supports 8 Indian languages. It also supports 55 banks, including State Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC and ICICI.
